Carmichael Presbyterian Church offers a worship experience in two distinct formats. Our early service at 8:45 am offers a traditional liturgical service with a pipe organ & a full Sanctuary Choir. Our second service at 11:00 am offers a contemporary approach to worship, which is less formal and features our contemporary music team. Please join us in either format as we worship Jesus Christ, Lord of our lives. In between services there is a fellowship time in the Gathering Place with coffee and juice followed by Christian Education for all ages. Childcare is provided throughout the morning.

The Worship Division is responsible for overseeing both regular Sunday worship services, special services, and scheduling communion, baptisms, Advent, Lent and Holy Week services.
Special Services include:
- Christmas Eve Family & Candlelight Communion Services
- Ash Wednesday Service
- Palm Sunday Service
- Maundy Thursday Service
- Good Friday Service
- Easter Sunday Sunrise Service
Please see the church calendar for further details of dates and times.
Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month during both services. For the Traditional Service, the elements are distributed separately, whereas the Contemporary Service is served intinction style, by dipping the consecrated bread, or host, into the consecrated wine before consumption. Communion is also served on the holidays of Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, and Maundy Thursday, and is typically served intinction style for those services.
Recipients of in-home communion are usually members of CPC who cannot attend services due to chronic health and mobility issues. Usually the Associate Pastor refers those to receive, and others within the congregation may make referrals. It is best to check with the Associate Pastor before making arrangements to provide services. Servers of in-home communion may be active or retired Elders or Deacons. Most servers have specific recipients they serve each month.
